For customers with existing domain names you can transfer your domain to ourselves easily. For .co.uk domains there is NO COST and for other domains a small fee might apply (see our full list of transfer fees here). To transfer a domain that you already own you can get in touch or do it yourself using our search form and then selecting the “Transfer” button once you have found your domain. Yes. All domains can be managed via the Media Street control panel, and here, you can make these changes yourself at any time and that’s all included in the price.
Yes – we register the domain in your name or in your customer’s name if you are working on someone’s behalf (as a web designer/affiliate).
To transfer your .co.uk domain to Media Street Ltd you will first need to proceed through our ordering process filling all the neccessary fields. Once you’ve done that you will need to change you domains IPS Tag (on your existing domain providers website) to STACK . Once this is done raise a support ticket in your control panel and we’ll do the rest! Transfering a .co.uk domain name can take between 24-48hrs.
Yes, you do not have to buy the web hosting when you buy a domain name. If you decide to add web hosting in the future you can easily upgrade with one of our feature rich hosting packages. Additionally, if you wished to only purchase web hosting and have a domain through a different domain registrar that is also possible.
Domains are registered as soon as you order them, however it can take between 24 and 72 hours for a domain name to become visible on the Internet as each DNS updates its database of domain names.
